Below you will see the notes in the ‘musical alphabet’ also known as the chromatic scale. The notes repeat in the same order indefinitely in either direction. Select a ‘key’ and ‘scale’ below. Choosing a ‘key’ will reorder the notes in the display to start and end on the chosen note. Choosing a ‘scale’ will alter the display showing which notes do and don't belong in the scale. Below will be some additional information about each chosen scale. Don't worry if you don't know what it all means yet!
